Sapori Restaurant and Bar awarded coveted AA Rosette

The scheme has run for over a century. It celebrates the best restaurants in the UK, with only about 10% of establishments nationwide cooking at a standard worthy of one Rosette or above. AA Inspectors are independent adjudicators of quality, which is established through anonymous visits to the venues up for review.

The inspectors particularly praised the quality of Head Chef Andrea Scarpati’s seasonal, authentic Italian cooking. Chef Scarpati introduces a new specials menu to the restaurant every week, and his pan-fried wood pigeon breast with pickled cherry mayonnaise was singled out for particular praise. Those with a sweet tooth might like to try the Tortino al cioccolato from the a la carte menu. This dark chocolate and dark cherry fondant was also highlighted for its quality.

Since 2011, Sapori has been delivering the highest standards of service and authentic Italian fine dining to delighted patrons in Leicestershire. Already the recipient of multiple awards, including the UK’s best Italian restaurant, being recognised with an AA Rosette marks another level of attainment for the Sapori team.
